The key differences between WiiM's Pro and Pro Plus models include a new, premium AKM 4493SEQ DAC with lower distortion and better dynamic range; greater compatibility with entry-level external DACs; improved ADC for line inputs; and even lower noise across the clock, circuit design and power supply.
What sets WiiM Pro apart from other streamers is its superior technology; such high-quality streaming will please even the most particular of audiophiles. As a backup, there's also the ability to connect to audio sources, including DACs and amplifiers, via an array of output ports.
The WiiM Pro is one of the only streamers to offer support for Chromecast as well as AirPlay 2, NAS, and local files. Siri, Alexa, and Google voice assistants are all exploitable and can be used in conjunction with a wider multiroom, multichannel home or workplace network. Users can enjoy gapless playback and further customise their listening experience with a range of EQ presets.
