Built with a trapezoidal enclosure which disrupts the formation of regular standing waves inside the cabinet and a curved front which enhances dispersion from its highly advanced drive units ensuring that sound is spread throughout the entire room, the new Crystal 3 is not just engineered to look good but is also capable of allowing listeners to hear the finesse of the rich overtones of the musical instruments and vocals in a highly realistic fashion. The Crystal 3 centre speaker is equipped with bass-midrange units which utilize a natural fibre cone fabricated to a precise formula and are specially treated to enhance midrange clarity. In the centre of the cone is a phase plug that improves high frequency response and ensures seamless transfer of sound through the crossover region to the treble unit.
